Our Journey
How It Started
Our first location is located in San Jose, CA off of Hostetter. Starting with one location and less than 20 employees, we have now since grown to over 10 stores and 200 employees in the Bay Area. We are even starting locations outside of the Bay Area, as far as Florida! We are still growing, learning, and continuing to spread our mission.
Mission
Since the beginning, Poké House had a clear mission: capture and share California’s spirit through our unique take on traditional Hawaiian Poké while supporting local businesses and environmental conservation. We do this by creating and serving delicious, fresh, and sustainable food.

Our Values
Poké House is striving to help change the world through our efforts and contributions in sustainability and environmental conservation. Our bowls are 100% made from biodegradable corn or plant fiber. Our wild-caught and farm-raised seafood is rated Best Choice or Good Alternative by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch® program or Eco-Certified by a third party. Not only that, Poke House has teamed up with REEF.org and Ocean Rescue Alliance International in helping preserving marine life. Part of our proceeds goes towards REEF.org and ORAI efforts on helping preserve oceanic life. When you eat at Poké House, you are helping save our oceans.
